The little things-Thesaurus day?

Hi!

We're back for another week of the little things, and by an interesting coincidence, today is also National Thesaurus Day! Who knew?

I honestly don't want to imagine how much harder it would be to write without access to an (online) Thesaurus. The Thesaurus also helped me find period-appropriate (when paired with an online etymological dictionary) synonyms more times than I could possibly count. So, even if it seems a bit weird... I guess it deserves a day!

Now... onto the little things!

I am so glad to report this month, that I finally finished chapter one on my WIP!!! And, on that note, I guess it's only fair to share a little behind-the-scenes sneak peek at my word count. 

-Note: this count includes my rough draft, so the page count will look unnaturally long compared to the word count. 

So... not as far in as I'd like, (just a couple pages into chapter two as of writing this.) But, also not as far behind as I felt only a week or two ago!

And... that's about it for me this week! But what about you? What are the things, little or not, that you are celebrating this month?
