Hello again!
After that (unscheduled) break, I think I can finally say... I'm back! The disasters seem to have calmed down for the moment, so I'm putting some time into prepping posts to go live on their own, lest something else come up. That said... I do have a few updates to share!
I'm editing!!!
That's right, my WIP is fully written (13 chapters, rather than the 15 I originally planned.) And I'm swiftly moving into the next stage of the writing process! As of writing this post (August 30th), I've already edited the first two chapters. I'm so excited to see how this book is shaping up!
I also have a full, if slightly rough, mockup of my final cover! I won't be sharing that here, but it's exciting to think of how quickly this project seems to be coming together!
I've also been making some changes to my Social media calendar. I know it feels like I make that same announcement every month or so, but I'm still working on refining my schedule so it's comfortable and natural for me. Likewise, I'm continually working on changing up the way I do book promotions, both to help attract more people who actually want to read my book and to make the entire process feel less forced from my end.
Other than that, I've been working on making little changes here and there, and simply getting back in the habit of editing, as I haven't been able to practise this skill since Alpaca Trouble came out!
