Welcome!

New stories?

Hello there!

It's no secret that the A Spy's Memory trilogy is now finished, leaving me with a tricky question: Now what do I do?

I can honestly say I was dreading completing the trilogy in a similar manner to how I dreaded my best friend moving away when I was younger. Now? I'm excited.

When I was in my late tweens my cousins and I were helping renovate our grandfather's house, and one day, during several dull tasks, one of my cousins asked me to tell her a story. I quickly spun a tale about a young woman's misadventures on her family's farm, and I think my cousin enjoyed it almost as much as I, (though she was not so impressed by my constant perspective jumping!)

Now, I will be taking that story and making a series out of the premise. The first book will be that exact story that I told so many years ago now, with the structure re-worked of course!

Apparently, the cure to series ending-blues is starting a new story! Who knew? I'd like to encourage anyone who is not looking forward to finishing a long-standing series that the pride in having finished, and the excitement when they find a new project will more than balance out the woes of saying goodbye for a little while.

If you would like a tiny sneak peek at what I'm planning for my new series, I'm keeping a mood board on Pinterest HERE (disclaimer: obviously I can't and won't claim credit for anything you find there, as all the links and photos belong to other people.)

Have a great day, and keep writing!
