I've been making a lot of longer, denser posts about research lately, so I thought I'd take a break from that to share a few recent small triumphs from my writing.
1. I have finished with all the research I originally had planned!
I still have a few things to find along the way, as I come up with them, but otherwise, I'm done!
2. I'm nearing the halfway point of my book!
Ten chapters, an epilogue, and a prologue, that's my plan. I know it's no epic fifty-plus chapter tome, but as I sit here; four chapters, and a prologue in, I'm still pretty proud of it.
3. Finally keeping up with regular posting on all my social media accounts without suffering burnout!
I know I touched on this one a few posts ago, but as marketing was my Achilles' heel for a long time, it's pretty near and dear to my heart.
I know this post is pretty short, compared to nearly everything else I post, but I think it's important, as a writer to remember to celebrate the little things as they come.
Had any small (or not-so-small) victories in your writing lately? Share them below so we can celebrate together!
Have a great day, and keep writing!
