Hello and welcome to another week of the little things!
Full disclosure, I'm writing this the day before it goes live, which obviously isn't ideal. I kept stalling in the hopes of including a very special item on this post, and I didn't quite make it in time, so keep an eye out for a special note in next month's installment of the little things!
Now, onto the little things I am celebrating in my writing/editing this month!
A little behind-the-scenes thing I am very excited to have finished this month is digitally organizing my promo photos. I know it sounds pretty dull, but trust me, it was an afternoon well spent. Now, I can find all my photos in a few clicks, rather than digging through four-plus files to find a specific promo, not to mention the ones that were actually in the wrong place altogether!
The absolute biggest thing I am excited to share this month is that I am DONE proofing! I meant to finish this before I even started editing, but things never seem to go exactly to schedule for me.
Another absolutely huge thing that I'm celebrating this month is getting past a particularly stressful issue I had with one of the chapters with the help of my online writer's group! I seriously don't know what I'd do without these incredible people helping me out when I run into issues!
Lastly, I'm pretty excited to report I'm halfway through editing the eighth chapter of what is now a THIRTEEN CHAPTER BOOK! So much for the short, simple, ten-chapter novella, I had planned. But, even if this isn't what I'd originally expected, I couldn't be more excited!
