Hello again! How's your December going so far?
I don't know about you, but I love winter. I live in the upper midwestern US, and if you know anything about that region, you know it gets COLD! But even with all the snow and cold, there is something undeniably beautiful about winter, and it is a wonderful time to write.
The snow covers the ground and the branches of the trees deadening the ambient sounds, leaving the atmosphere perfect for a little bit of magical music (something that is practically expected in the winter!)
The chilly air invites you to light candles, and pull out the fluffy socks, and warm blankets, not to mention a large mug of tea or cocoa! Cozy writing? Yes, please.
Most everyone is either relaxing inside, or adventuring outside, and (at least at the start of winter) there is an almost electric excitement and anticipation filling the air. Something that is incredible to channel into a book!
Those are some of my favorite parts of writing in winter, how about you? When is your favorite time to write?
Have a great day, and keep writing!
