Hello again!
Writing is hard, but there is something about being an Indie author that I find harder. Actually selling my books.
It feels like everyone is always promising to read my books, but they never seem to get around to it. All the self-promotion in the world doesn't seem to make a huge difference either. Of course, promos do expose my books to a large (or smaller, semi-specific) audience, it's very hard to guarantee they are just the right audience for my specific book
The sad thing is that word of mouth and reviews really are the best ways to sell books. And if no one reads the book, no one is going to leave a review.
