The little things- WIP update!

Hello again, and welcome to another edition of The Little Things!

Just in case you are new here, this is a continuing practice to make sure I take a little time every month to appreciate the little things in my writing life. Writing is hard but taking a single post's worth of time to celebrate any victories, no matter how small, has honestly been a fun way to lighten the load. 

This month, I have been having... mixed success with my writing. But I am excited to report that I am finally escaping the "January slog" and, as you are about to see, making some actual progress on my WIP!

As always, I struggle with the fact that I could have been doing better, writing more, and more consistently, and generally making better progress... but, right now, I am excited to report that my WIP has grown from 6,978 words as of my last TLT (The Little Things) post on Jan 17th, to more than 2.5 times that, today!
